Getting there
Paris to Lourdes is around 800 kilometres, a full day by road. Departing early puts you at the Grotto for the evening procession the same day.
Season
The Sanctuary and the baths are open all year. The torchlight and Blessed Sacrament processions run daily from Easter to the end of October; winter is quieter and very peaceful. Bring layers — it is the foot of the mountains.
